FC Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi is streets ahead of Real Madrid talisman Cristiano Ronaldo in the La Liga scoring charts for the first time since 2013.

The Catalan club forward has been in excellent form this campaign, and currently has 15 more goals than Ronaldo in La Liga – leading his rival for the first time in the past four seasons.
Messi's teammate, Luis Suarez, is also near the top of the scoring charts, with names such as Iago Aspas and Antoine Griezmann also featuring in the list.
According to Transfermarkt, Los Blancos forward Alvaro Morata is also among the top 10 scorers in La Liga, despite only featuring in 24 league matches this season.
Former Blaugrana forward Sandro Ramirez is also among the names, as is Atletico Madrid's Kevin Gameiro.
